We are currently seeking a senior level .NET Developer for a long term contract position in the Midtown Atlanta Area. Senior .NET Developer will provide application development services, including oversight and mentoring of junior resources, to partner with our clients to help them achieve their business goals of increasing efficiencies and creating a competitive advantage. Our client is uniquely positioned to deliver consulting and solutions that encompass all levels of technology from the application down to the networking layer. The Application Development Practice has comprehensive knowledge and expertise in developing robust software solutions within the Microsoft stack.

We are currently only accepting applications that are local to Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

  • Highly skilled in Web Application architecture and design
  • Develop code for all application tiers using a combination of .NET technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET and third-party objects
  • Work within the Agile software development framework
  • Work in a consultative manner with the client to develop web based applications using JavaScript client frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS, EmberJS, BackboneJS, etc.)
  • Write and review technical specifications based on requirements and functional specifications
  • Rewrite existing applications and software to make them more scalable and efficient
  • Manage multiple responsibilities across several clients while maintaining a high level of quality deliverables
  • Communicate development concepts with presentations utilizing tools such as PowerPoint Storyboarding, Vision and other related tools to various audiences including peers and C-Level Executives
  • Passionate about learning and growth while mentoring one or more Jr. Developers that you will be invested in, with the goal of the Jr. Developer becoming a mentor themselves
  • Represent the company's brand when communicating with clients and co-workers. Recognition of alignment with the Client Engagement Values by being nominated for a company Epic award.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years: C# development experience
  • Minimum 2 years: ASP.NET MVC
  • Demonstrable hands-on project work in a test-driven development (TDD) environment
  • Win Forms, WPF, or other desktop-related technology
  • SQL Server Design (creating tables, stored procedures, views, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of WCF with understanding of how to implement REST services using Web API
  • Strong experience with JavaScript Client Frameworks
  • Understanding of asynchronous state machines and the async/await keywords
  • 2+ years working with Entity Framework
  • 4 year degree in computer science or management information systems or related experience
