The QA Engineer will be expected to develop test plans/build functional and non-functional tests/create test use cases and scenarios.
Responsibilities:
Produce structured test plans based on functional and data driven requirements
Develop comprehensive test cases to cover both UI and database level testing for both End to End testing, Data Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Regression testing
Creating, executing and recording the results of test cases
Tracking of progress of test phase and reporting to Project Manager with regular updates.
Raise & track defects, highlight potential risks
Ensures quality standards are maintained at all times
Develops process improvement initiatives
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years QA and software testing experience
Experience testing in a Telecommunications environment
Experience in interrogating SQL server databases through the use of advanced SQL queries
Experience in testing on data migration/data driven projects
Testing of systems developed in SQL is essential and MDX is preferable
Experience with bug and issue management tools
