For our client, a globally active firm headquartered in Zurich, we are looking to staff a Senior / Principal Project Manager (IT-Infrastructure) to start on 24 Feb, 2015
Job Description
• To assume responsibility for the project management of the individual work streams as directed by the Programme Director.
• To achieve high performance on all aspects of project delivery, in line with commitments made.
• Define, communicate, execute & monitor the project plan, schedule and prioritise specific to individual activities, in line with agreed requirements, with appropriate work packages and key milestones.
• Maintain effective and good working relationships with programme and project stakeholders.
• Manage the project through risk planning establishing appropriate mitigations and contingency plans communicated to the Programme Manager and key Stakeholders.
• Establishing and embedding benefit realisation management for the project using an appropriate and industry recognised methodology for the purpose of delivering the strategic objectives defined in the programme.
• To meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
