Description
The contract is with a large consultancy to be on assignment at a European site in Brussels. The client is seeking an SOA Technical Analyst as follows:
. Maintenance and monitoring of the IBM-AIX (6 or higher) systems which provide the backbone for integration services.
This includes:
o Advanced knowledge in Unix script building for custom processes and jobs. Knowledge of some Perl Scripting may be advantageous for very specific occasions.
o Well versed with Unix security features.
o Having a good overview on IBM WebSphere based system integration products and tools installed in the environment.
o Ability to analyze existing scripts and troubleshoot on problems.
. Administration and maintenance of the IBM-WMQ setup.
. Have advanced knowledge of database: ability to perform complex 'selects', linked queries, stored procedures etc.
. Undertake error-log analysis and possible troubleshooting of IBM-WMB and Adapters setup.
. Participate in all interventions and incident prevention/follow-up.
. Willingness to take part in occasional outside business hours and/or weekend support as and when necessary.
. Contribute to the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
