•Project related support activities
•Installation and configuration of software / hardware environments and peripherals on request
•Account, access and/or asset management support activities
•Follow-up and support for the industrial IT environment, consisting of server and pc systems (desktop/laptop and industrial systems), different types of technologies and network environments
•Daily 1st/2nd line incident and troubleshooting, pc and server components in a highly complex setup, including complex networking & security.
•Upon project delivery after go-live, take part in 24x7 support.
•Maintaining and improving the customer service and availability
•Develop and maintain the support documentation for all technology related subjects
•Develop and maintain the support documentation (SOP's) for all infrastructure related subjects
•Execute software installation and deliver documentation in line with ITIL procedures
Technical skills:
•Expert knowledge of Microsoft environment: windows 7 / windows server 2008, security setup, hardware, …
•Experienced with network protocols, firewalls and PC security
•Experienced in PC maintenance in industrial environment
•Good understanding of databases, querying and SQL
•Any experience with automation networks, peripherals (scanners, label printers) and/or vision systems is a plus.
-Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience. Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
-4+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
-Strong IT background on both infrastructure and application level

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Quick learner, motivated self-starter
-Good communication skills, also with business partners in non-technical language.
-A keen eye for detail is needed, while still being able to appreciate and evaluate the impact to the complete environment.
-Being able to work efficiently in a complex international business environment where technical, operational and project aspects (sometimes contradicting each other) need to go hand in hand.
-Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
-Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines.
-Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
