Clerk of Works
We are looking for a Clerk of Works to work on and ongoing contract for a mobile telecommunications provider, working across the South West of England and Wales.
The organisation is a world-leading telecommunications solutions provider serving 35 of the world's top 50 telecom operators, their products and solutions are deployed in over 100 countries. Over 1 billion people globally are communicating using the organisations telecom products and solutions.
The role is to oversee the quality and safety of works being completed on build projects across the mobile network. You will be responsible for completing site surveys and inspections across the designated region.
Duties include;
- Carrying out site visits, surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with the contract specifications and drawings.
- To assist and instruct contractors on site to sure the quality of the works being completed.
- To work alongside the project management team.
- Health and safety monitoring.
- Prepare reports on work progress and site activities.
- Liaise with contractors, construction staff, engineers and surveyors.
- Monitoring the work completed by the partner to ensure there are no issues.
We are looking for a Clerk of Works that is able to display the following key experience, skills and training.
- Proven Clerk of Works or Site Management background
- A working knowledge of telecoms construction projects
- Rooftop Safety
- RF Awareness
- NRSWA Streetworks
- UK driving license and Vehicle
- One position is covering the one covering the South West and Wales working remotely and on site.
Interviews and inductions will be held in Reading. The role is offered on an ongoing freelance basis available from March 2015. (see below)
