Our client is a payments company and is currently looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible of the Croatian and the Slovenian markets. The Marketing Manager will work at our client subsidiary in Zagreb for 2 years.

The Marketing Manager will:

  • Be responsible for managing consumer, customer and merchant marketing activities, as well as sponsorship and public relations in line with the area business and marketing strategy, and according to the corporate guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop annual marketing plan based on country business strategy and objectives.
  • Lead all marketing, promotional, sponsorship and public relations activities in line with the area business strategy and corporate guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns in order to increase brand awareness, build brand preference, increase card issuance and usage.
  • Set objectives and key performance indicators for all major activities.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Manage and coordinate work with and between multiple marketing and PR agencies
  • Manage customer and merchant marketing activities including negotiations, implementation and contracting processes.
  • Develop customer-tailored marketing programs to increase brand awareness, card issuance, activation and usage.
    Leverage internal sponsorship platforms and assets through national and customer or merchant specific advertising and promotional campaigns.
  • Establish excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and control marketing budgets according to corporate guidelines.

The Marketing Manager is/has:

* At least 8 years of experience in the area of brand or customer marketing ideally working for
the multinational corporation
* Overseeing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
* Broader marketing knowledge including but not marketing communications
* Budget planning and management experience
* University degree preferably in marketing, business or finances
* Strong presentation, as well as written and oral communication skills
* English language fluency in both writing and speech
* Interpersonal skills to form trusting relationship with internal and external stakeholders
* Analytical and strategic thinking skills to be able to read and understand complex data,
define and propose course of action
* Project management skills to guarantee the execution with excellence
* Results driven and solutions oriented individual who operates with a sense of urgency, and
looking for conflict and problem resolutions.
