The group are experiencing considerable growth across the UK and a range of European countries which they operate in. The group now has further plans for growth and expansion during 2015.
The groups solutions rely heavily on the automation of loan applications and processing without human interaction. The main challenge of the business is to ensure the web interface, Back Office as well as both the desktop and mobile applications are integrated seamlessly together with various 3rd party solutions.
The successful Data Scientist to join the group will have a deep understanding of data science techniques and skills with a specific set of tools or languages. You will have an inquisitive mind and an eye for detail to provide insights into whats happening and propose innovative solutions. You will have the full ownership of your work and the freedom to execute it how you think it makes sense, as long as it helps the company grow quickly whilst providing a valuable service to the customer base.
Additional skills and experience required for this role will include the ability to make sense of and transform masses of complex data into a format fit for analysis. This position will require the post holder to be able to link and mash up distinctive data sets to explore new insights. Ultimately you must love data and all things associated with it or else this role is not for you!
You will work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts and UX teams to analyse technical and product opportunities, offer insightful recommendations and help define tasks. This role will get deeply involved with analytical programmes and hence help support the creation of out of the box advanced solutions and processes. You will need to assess and report the progress as well as embed yourself in all areas of the organisation.
6 months in duration with possible extension..............rate is flexible depending upon experience and suitability.
