Main tasks/ Domains of resposibility
Tasks/ services:
Operational activities on distributed applications on windows based platforms.
• Incident and problem management activities
• Project activities
1.1. Tasks
The scope of the mission is:
• 2nd - 3rd level support, Incident, Problem and Change Management; Application monitoring and reporting
• Application Infrastructure Management ; Implementation of Standard Work Request;
• Deployment of Applications on Windows based infrastructure ;
• Application Operational Manager activities (Control of Backup, monitoring, CMDB, Blue
print, documentation)
• Improvement and extension of operational stability and performance
• General technology system administration
• Creation / improvement of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and work instructions and necessary documentation for transition of first and second line tasks.
• Travelling is normally not required (main location is Brussels), although occasional travel to Berchem could be requested.
• Working hours vary from 7am to 6pm Mon-Fri.
• No Standby activities
• Occasional - outside business hour support could be requested by the team manager.
Profil/ Skills
Requirements:
• In Depth technical knowledge in Windows OS (middleware & applications), IIS WebServer, Active Directory, Sharepoint and/or Exchange and/or Citrix.
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies is an advantage :
Network Knowledge (basic TCP/IP, ..),
Scripting (VB, Powershell, ...). ;
• Technical writing skills to write the proper documentation according to internal regulationsD
