Howdy!
We're looking for a talented Front-end Developer to work with us here at BrightBytes. We're a growing education technology startup building incredible tools for schools and districts to make actionable improvements in student learning.
What we're looking for:
A competent Front-end Developer to work with us on our public facing marketing and information properties. You would take ownership of these properties with detailed and useful guidance from the design team. All design work will be completed and assets will be provided for any work you need to do.
Specifically:
Significant competence working in Git repositories and branches.
Significant experience working with up-to-date Wordpress installations and writing PHP.
Significant experience writing raw HTML/CSS, as well as CSS pre-processors (We use SCSS)
Significant experience writing raw JS as well as jQuery to build fun and useful user interactions.
This is a remote position, but if you're in San Francisco and want a desk (and free snacks, occasional meals, Wi-Fi, etc) you can work from our office as you wish. This will be a contract position with no defined hours, but an expectation to deliver by agreed deadlines.
