ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT
Location: Brussels, start 16/03, duration 6 months ( + extensions )
Position:
Enterprise Architecture is the process of translating business vision and strategy into effective change by
creating and improving the requirements, principles and models of the enterprise's future state, and
defining a roadmap to enable that future state.
In order to reinforce our team, we are looking for a (m/f) Enterprise Architect.
As Enterprise Architect, you facilitate discussion and resolution between diverse groups of stakeholders
across the enterprise, with the sole objective of ensuring a consistent approach to the execution the
business strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Keep abreast of the most recent technological developments and share these with relevant stakeholders
in order to guarantee technology expertise development
Gather, understand and consolidate functional and technical requirements from the business vision and
strategy in order to define the overall solution architecture for a certain functional domain.
Define and maintain the roadmap(s) and/or model(s) of a certain functional domain in order to ensure
that the strategic goals are realized through timely implementation of systems, platforms and
infrastructure.
Lead work sessions with cross-functional teams
Profile:
1. Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related technology-based
discipline.
Previous experience (7-10 years) with the discipline of Enterprise Architecture; preferably in large
enterprise environments.
Experience in Telecom at large is preferred.
Familiar with the use of industry frameworks - like eTOM.
Solid knowledge of current technologies, emerging trends and architectural principles.
2. Skills/expertise:
Strong understanding of how people interact with data and technology.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills (eg partnering, stakeholder management, consulting, etc.)
Demonstrated excellence in consultative, presentation, verbal and written communication
Demonstrated critical thinking and analysis
Demonstrated project management and facilitation skills
Comfortable around higher management (presenting without undue tension and nervousness,
understanding how they think and work).
