Senior Technical Support - 3 Month Contract

Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Support who has a solid understanding of ATM's and Base24/T24 for a Contract position in Dublin City Centre.
Responsibilities:
- Providing 1st line support to all users of the Devices in the test environment & assisting 2nd line support for both test & production queries
- Coordinating access to these devices across multiple projects.
- Responsible for the configuration, management and support of software on card-based devices in a test environment
- Assisting development staff in all aspects of QA, including test planning, Scripting, execution, defect management and reporting
Required:
- Knowledge and comfortable working in/with Microsoft Client Server environments with at least 18/24 months experience
- Above average inter-personal skills with experience of dealing with both developers and business end users.
- Ideally, broad knowledge of ATM type devices
- Experience of working in a technical support role
- Proven ability to quickly adapt to new environments and to gain an understanding of new processes, applications and procedures
- Adaptable and the ability to learn quickly
- Ideally, knowledge and background in testing with exposure to test simulators
- Good analytical & organisation skills
- Understanding of and experience with Microsoft Client Server technologies
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Proven organisational and co-ordination skills
- Proven ability to quickly gain an understanding of new business processes and applications
Desirable:
- Test planning & execution skills
- Experience of all aspects of project life cycle with experience of managing certain parts.
- Proficient in the use of desktop applications such as Excel, Word, MS Project etc
