Our client is seeking a Customer Support Engineer - Radio Controller for a role based out of Dublin.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • First level technical support for customer queries
  • Software maintenance activities: - Installation & Test of Technical/Change notes/change deliveries
  • Software upgrades and technical audits on site
  • On-site support at customer premises, participating network operation service, when applicable
  • Plan and run a sub project (like SW upgrade, SW Planning, Tailored technical support)
  • Installation and/or Commissioning and/or Integration activities
  • Network expansion activities
  • Technical/customer acceptance testing
  • Implement parametering in the network elements' subsystems (Understand KPI and the impact on the performance of the system)
  • Participate multivendor and 3rd party activities (Installation, Integration, Interface troubleshooting

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with troubleshooting of a 3G Nokia Network
  • Prior experience with trouble ticketing systems
  • Technical knowledge of:
  • Nokia RNC2600
  • Nokia RNC450
  • mcRNC
  • Linux
