Description
Our client is seeking a Customer Support Engineer - Radio Controller for a role based out of Dublin.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- First level technical support for customer queries
- Software maintenance activities: - Installation & Test of Technical/Change notes/change deliveries
- Software upgrades and technical audits on site
- On-site support at customer premises, participating network operation service, when applicable
- Plan and run a sub project (like SW upgrade, SW Planning, Tailored technical support)
- Installation and/or Commissioning and/or Integration activities
- Network expansion activities
- Technical/customer acceptance testing
- Implement parametering in the network elements' subsystems (Understand KPI and the impact on the performance of the system)
- Participate multivendor and 3rd party activities (Installation, Integration, Interface troubleshooting
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience with troubleshooting of a 3G Nokia Network
- Prior experience with trouble ticketing systems
- Technical knowledge of:
- Nokia RNC2600
- Nokia RNC450
- mcRNC
- Linux
