Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:Perform test and validation using automotive vehicles to simulate large trucks in a simulated mine environment. The position is also responsible for validating other autonomous systems using actual on board and off board software and systems. Integration responsibilities include the planning, installation and troubleshooting of software, electronic components and systems on the test machines. Validation efforts include the creation of test cases and detailed test procedures, documentation of the test cases, and operation of equipment to execute the test cases. Results will be formally documented and communicated to the development team
Potential domestic travel for this position.
SKILLS:
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required. Ideally, candidates would have a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Some industry experience is beneficial, but recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered.
- Previous experience with messaging protocols and network traffic analysis tools such as Wireshark required.
Preferred:
- Basic understanding of C and C++ software.
- Experience with, or the desire to quickly learn, TeamCenter Systems Engineering
