Description
My client based in Swindon is looking for an Mechanical Design Engineer to develop 3D models for power system blocks.
The successful candidate will need to be proficient in the use of Solidworks or AutoCAD.
The role will require you to work with the customer engineering team to develop 3D models for power system blocks and produce detailed designs for each module.
Design packs will include sheet metal enclosures, machined parts, PCB outlines, and 3D printed/plastic components.
Experience of working with electrical systems is essential with knowledge of cable design and wiring systems an advantage.
Familiarity with avionics design and commercial avionics requirements is desirable.
