The contract is with a consultancy in Brussels for a 12 month assignment a large educational institution in NAMUR as follows:-

DTIC wants to launch various projects to consolidate, optimize and improve the technical infrastructure supporting the customer information system ( data centers, Servers, networks, office automation, operating systems, storage, virtualization, ITIL services, ...) and the tools to manage this infrastructure ( CMDB backups tools, monitoring, capacity management, Firewalls, ...).

Key skills and experience required for the activities described above are:
Experience in the same or similar tasks, ideally in large organizations with large information of systems.
Legitimacy vis-à-vis the specialists in different areas to cover: credibility and ability to keep a correct discourse, consistent, "an appropriate level" and balanced, not just operational/technical or, conversely, too theoretical .
Ability to establish itself as a leader, a unifying around well designed and fully explained solutions

Knowledge and understanding of heterogeneous and distributed IT environments networks (WAN, MAN, LAN), Firewalls, IPv6, NAC, data centers, load balancing, clustering, high availability, DRP, OS Windows and Linux Servers, virtualization, SAN storage systems and NAS, hierarchical storage and archiving, Oracle & PostgreSQL databases, backups, scheduling, monitoring, MS Exchange groupware

Knowledge of application hosting technologies:
. Business web hosting (Java, PHP), CMS (Jahia, Drupal ...), EDM (Alfresco), databases (Oracle);
Good knowledge of PC operating systems and their integration into the company (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8);
Knowledge of mobile technologies: Android, iOS; Experience in UML modelling, Archimate;
Knowledge of project management methodology and experience in the field, the knowledge of an enterprise architecture framework standard (type TOGAF) and knowledge of the public sector of its business areas and routine business functions are additional assets. Requires both French and English
