POSITION SUMMARY   The Stelter Company hosts and manages planned giving Web content (via microsite) for more than 1,400 nonprofits nationwide. We are migrating to a new content management system (Ingeniux), which requires us to rebuild all of our client sites. As such, we are looking for experienced Web developers—with exceptional skills in Javascript/JQuery and CSS—to assist our fun and creative team in the conversion of our client’s nonprofit websites to this new technology platform.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following are fundamental duties that an individual who holds the position must perform. This is not an exhaustive list. Other duties, in addition to these essential job functions, will be assigned in the discretion of the Web Manager.  

  • Builds modularized microsites using a content management system to integrate with a nonprofit’s existing website.
  • Performs changes and repairs surfaced during the Q&A process.
  QUALIFICATIONS
  • Expertise in CSS, Javascript/CSS
  • Experience with content management systems helpful
  • Can commit a minimum of 20 hours per week. There is no maximum number of hours that can be worked per week.


 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Demonstrated experience in graphic design, Web design or related field
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
COMPENSATION
  • A flat fee of $320 will be paid for each completed site. Site build time varies depending on developers’ proficiency. Site builds average 8 to 14 hours, which includes time spent on Q&A changes.
