Senior Java Developer
Amsterdam, the Netherlands
An excellent opportunity for a senior Java developer to join a large international end client on a minimum 6 month contract in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing new functionality based on requirements from the product management team and collaborating with production support team to help diagnose root cause and address issues in a timely manner. You will be responsible for the quality and timeliness of assigned software development efforts and the study of new technology.
The Senior Java developer mush have;
*A minimum of 5+ years experience in Java Web application development
*5+ years experience with SQL - ability to understand fairly complex queries- -Experience with open source technologies like Spring, Hibernate
*Working knowledge of JBoss application Servers
*Maven and Git experience is ideal
*Proficient in using IDE effectively - Eclipse, IntelliJ
*Experience with test-driven development and unit testing a plus
*Experience with performance testing and monitoring is a plus
*Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Open to Dutch speaking consultants only, you must have fluent Dutch language skills.
