Internal Audit Manager, Insurance, North West

Audit Manager role for Insurance/financial services company based in the North West. This is an initial 3 month contract paying up to £300 a day.

Applicants for this Internal Audit Manager role should have a good understanding of Audit and Audit Management and experience of working for a large financial services company.

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for undertaking specific audit assignments to ensure that an effective goverance framework is in place and that the Groups Satutory and legal obligations are satisfied.

Key skills/experience includes:

  • Accounting Qaulification OR Internal Audit Qualification
  • Stakeholder management experience to CRO and group FD level
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Audit Management experience
  • Good working knowledge of generic finance and accounting processes/systems.
  • Financial Services experience
  • Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders
