IT Analyst - 3 Month Contract

Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced IT Analyst who has a solid understanding of UC4 for an initial 3 month contract position in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a number of systems and ensuring the successful delivery of key business initiatives while actively participating in the on-going process of systems improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to IT Application Manager
- Provide technical support & maintenance for core billing and other applications within the IT enterprise application suite or both operations and project
- Experience of software workload automation, job scheduling and IT process optimization tools eg UC4.
- Support other project initiatives especially those related to interface issues.
- Adherence to IT development procedures and standards
- Troubleshooting and manage L2 & L3 system support issues
- Working with various functional teams to assist on the technical design and implementation of new/enhanced business changes
- Support Enterprise BI & Messaging functions
- Control of Application licenses/Software asset management
- Part of an On Call batch rota team
Required:
- At least 2 years experience on any of the following: UC4, Billing Systems (Oracle E-business Suite, Oracle Utilities CCB or other), Doc1, Salesforce, Allegro, Ventyx, Business Objects, SQL/Toad, Weblogics and/or other Middleware
- Good understanding of Java (from a Support perspective)
- Strong SQL experience
- Operational Analyst experience in a 24 x 7 environment
