Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a Database Application Administrator Expert with a proven track record of 15 years in Database Administration, 3 years in Application Administration and a university degree. This role is located in Brussels.
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
Skills:
- Oracle RDBMS administration and tuning;
- SQL & PL/SQL skills;
- Hibernate performance troubleshooting;
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the domain of Database Administration;
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Application DBA.
Education:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Tasks:
- Implement logical data model at physical level;
- Maintain DEV, TEST, Acceptance, Maintenance and Production databases;
- Help developer in improving data access performance;
- Help developers and analysts to check data migrations.
The candidate needs to have a good command of English. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
This position is offered as a freelance contract with a total duration of up to 5 years.
Applicants should be able to start ASAP/in April.
The day rate will be Euro depending on the suitability of the candidate.
