I am currently recruiting for a Resource Planning Manager for a leading Retail Bank. I have outlined the role details below.

I am looking for an experienced Resource Planning Manager to join the team for a number of months. You will have a team of 2 planning analysts and provide planning expertise to the Banks Collections operation. Previous experience in a similar role ideally in a collections or outbound telephony area would be beneficial. The ability to manage a number of senior stakeholders in a fast paced and demanding environment is essential.

Role: Resource Planning Manager
Rate: Up to £500p/d
Location: Kirkby, Merseyside
Contract Length: Until September with a view to extend

The Resource Planning Manager will:

* Build, develop and maintain end to end forecasting models that deliver the most effective forecasting of contacts, allowing for "what if" and predictive modelling by business unit or queue
* Build and develop (in conjunction with MI teams) planning reports and insight which support in understanding demand drivers and trends
* Support planning managers to provide long term forecasts of workload, staffing and planning assumptions, supporting delivery of financial planning requirements ranging from quarterly RAF reviews, through to half yearly STP and 5-year MTP predictions
* Be the gate keeper of all forecasts, and service predictions within the business unit, ensuring all Change, Impacts, Marketing & Sales activities are included in plans, and are supported with "What If" scenarios, to enable stakeholders to make decisions on resourcing requirements or Service Level considerations
* Provide the management team with reports on demand trends and planning assumptions. Provide analysis and insight into volume drivers, customer contact history and repeat customer contacts to support the on-going improvements in forecasting outputs and accuracy
* Provide effective forecasting of planning assumptions such as AHT and shrinkage, and produce analysis and insight to track actual performance
* Maximise resource by identifying opportunities to flex resource across the wider business, to assist with managing peak volumes and delivering consistent service levels across the business
Proactively challenge the status quo and be capable of establishing, through negotiation and rational articulation of logic, a change in existing processes and internal delivery from other functions and departments

* Advanced Excel skills (with VBA)
