Our client is the worlds leading developer and distributor of software and services for the research industry. They are a fast growing company exporting to over 150 countries around the world, serving over 1.5 million users globally.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in developing digital marketing expertise, to join this business on a 10 month fixed term maternity cover contract reporting to the VP & GM - EMEA.

This position is based at our clients EMEA head office in Warrington and will suit candidates from the Cheshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester areas.

This role is essential in managing established local marketing and sales campaigns that generate new prospect opportunities and repeat business for our direct and partner sales team in the region. Working closely with the VP & GM - EMEA, the role will include:
planning, organising and executing tailored email and/or online campaigns
managing existing tactical marketing and lead generation programs
Performance tracking of sales campaign cycles
Managing and/or developing a marketing plan to support regional growth into existing and emerging new markets
Working with partner and global marketing teams to ensure success
Marketing call to action content facilitation through developing a scalable program and value proposition on initiatives that create value; and global marketing engagement.
Other responsibilities include: management of lead generation and progression of customer data in Silverpop and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM);

Selection criteria:
A tertiary qualification in Marketing or related discipline is essential
Proven experience in a busy and varied field marketing role focusing on lead generation and campaign management will be favorable
High proficiency in Microsoft packages is important
An excellent communicator with the ability to engage at all levels and be a strong team player
A highly motivated and professional who is able to thing strategically and also get hands-on at a tactical level
A proven ability to work autonomously, and make sound decisions as well as being results orientated, organised and manage multiple projects with attention to detail
Experience of channel marketing and customer segmentation would be advantageous.
Web development skills would be a plus as there are plans to launch a new UK website
Experience in the IT/tech sectors and/or selling into the Public Sector/Educational sector from a Product Marketing background would be beneficial.
