Do you have an all-round IT understanding and would you like to work in an English speaking position in southern Italy?
One Service Management Assistant is needed for an initial 6 month contract at the offices of a client that provides international IT support to its parent company. You will work across various teams supporting service management, technical activities and systems and the staff, consultants and customers related to them. Excellent English language skills are required.
Duties will include:

. Support the updating of the technical information database, the Configuration Management Database, Change Management workflow, CRM system, other Service Management related systems, procedures and operating level agreements
. Assist in drafting, developing or improving service policies, service reports or technical documentation
. Following up customer complaints and incidents when necessary
. Provide training for partner supported systems or processes
. Log service calls and emails in the customer CRM system
. Analyse and resolve incidents on supported services
. In case of emergencies, provide support (either on-site or remotely using VPN connectivity) outside normal working hours
. Provide standby and on-call support, if and when required.
. Work in shifts as part of an extended service coverage scheme, if and when required (this may include 24/7)
. Perform other duties as required.
Your experience should include:

. Ability and interest in working in Italy as a freelancer (with a partiva iva)
. At least two years of experience in IT or related areas including at least one year working in an IT service provider (ie Service Desk, Application Support).
. ITIL foundation certification
. Experience in reporting or database querying (ie Transact SQL)
. Experience in working for a service provider
. Very good English communication skills to manage relationships with customers and internal teams
. Italian, Spanish or French language skills will be a bonus.
. Experience in drafting technical documentation
. You should be honest, transparent and willing to work in a multicultural environment respecting diversities.
. Have a degree in IT related area or engineering.
. Alternatively a degree in other areas supplemented by training in IT, preferably with diploma.
