Compliance Administrator - ASAP Start - 4 WEEK CONTRACT

An exciting opportunity for an experience compliance administrator to join well known construction and engineering company based in our Wolverhampton office. Please note this is a temporary 4 week contract. The administrator will provide administrative assistance to the team and contribute to departmental and GDSP targets. As a successful candidate you will support all activities within the team, develop and maintain proactive and positive relationships with all key stakeholders within GDSP and across the wider Company and understand the importance of corporate governance and ensure consistent measures and standards are applied.

Key responsibilities:

  • Download, save and print a high volume of Inspections/Audits from the company Portal.
  • Abstract data from Inspections/Audits and input into the GDSP Compliance Trackers.
  • Issue Action Closure Request Forms to Operation Managers.
  • Maintain the GDSP Compliance Report Trackers with accurate up to date information to record receipt of Compliance Inspection/Audits, issue of Action Closure Forms to Operation Managers and record receipt of returned closure forms.
  • Issue routine Compliance Reports accurately and to specified timescales, to include, the GDSP Weekly and Monthly SHE Reports.
  • Prepare update and issue Outstanding Open Inspections Report.
  • Prepare and circulate other ad-hoc reports on request.
  • Prepare and Issue Dashboard reports to the Area Delivery Managers.
  • Operate office systems, process documents, maintain accurate records and access information in the support of departmental activities.
  • Resolve enquires from both internal and external parties.
  • Compile information as necessary in order to provide the department with the required Management Information.
  • Organise departmental telephone-conferences and management meetings as necessary, organise meeting rooms and take the minutes for those meetings if required.
  • Assist in the delivery of training of new staff where appropriate to ensure consistency of approach and compliance with standard processes and procedures.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Previous experience of working in an office environment
  • Working knowledge of National Grid Systems.
  • Good knowledge of appropriate legislation, policies and procedures.

Skills:

  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Competent in the use of all other standard Microsoft Packages including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Confident in the ability to use computer systems, general office facilities, photocopier, fax etc.
  • Excellent Data Entry skills.
  • Excellent keyboard skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interface with Operational Teams and colleagues.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work efficiently alone and as part of a team.
