Manufacturing Engineer CNC/Senior CNC Manufacturing Technician
The role: Manufacturing engineer - Programming and troubleshooting Okuma lathes with Fanuc controls
Contract: 6months
Rate: £28+ negotiable
Location: Birmingham
A role has arisen to join the manufacturing engineering team producing valves for the aerospace industry. The work will be varied but with the main focus on reprogramming and editing programmes for Okuma lathes with Fanuc controls. The parts are precision manufactured to very close tolerances and the processes are reviewed and recorded using solumina.
The candidate
An expert in CNC machining in a precision environment, you must have experience of programming using Fanuc in highly regulated companies. Prior experience of troubleshooting,updating manufacturing systems and procedures especially when dealing with modifications will also be required.
Preferred additional experiences
Experience of some of the following would also be an advantage
*Okuma lathe experience
*Aerospace component manufacture
*Other Programming languages: ie) Delcam, Alphacam, Catia v5
You need to be eligible for baseline security clearance to be successful for this role
