Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Network Specialist to join their team based in Tournai, Belgium.
This contract role has an initial duration of 3 months with likely extension.
Your job position:
Under the responsibility of the project manager, your main responsibilities are:
- Realise projects feasibility studies and you analyse the client defined requirements;
- You are responsible for the implementation and the technical and administrative management of work sites where deployment of structured cabling networks occurs;
- The candidate is in charge of making up and updating the documentary databases, the connections at the client's, the complex infrastructure networks projects that may cover all techniques related to networks and services;
- You are responsible for the planning, the centralization and control of the subcontractors;
- You take care of the reporting about the implementation of the projects.
Your profile:
- You have a BSc/MSc degree in Telecommunications, electricity or electro mechanics;
- You justify a minimum of 5 years experience within the domain of high density structured cabling networks (data centres, providers, );
- You are aware of constraints and technical procedures of networks deployment, racks installation and wiring and connection of optical fibres;
- You master the standards and certification techniques of optical/copper links (OTDR, PowerMeter, channel test, etc.);
- The knowledge of the active equipment (Switches, optical transceivers SFP, QSFP) and a team management experience are assets;
- You are knowledgeable about the FastReporter (EXFO) and Linkware (Fluke) software;
- You master the ISO/IEC 11801 and ANSI/TIA-942-A standards;
- You speak fluently operational English.
