Leading Financial Services Company recruiting for a Financial Analyst in Financial & Statutory Reporting on a 6 month rolling contract basis.
Preparation of financial statements for over 270 legal entities within the group to include Statement of Comprehensive Income, Statement of Financial Position, Executive Summary, Letter of Representation.
Posting of month-end journals for legal entities.
Answering audit queries on financial statements prepared.
Preparation of monthly reconciliation of accounts.
Calculation of Average Group Funding for individual leasing companies within the Asset Finance division.
Calculation of Cost of Money (COM) rates for relevant month on month, quarter on quarter and year on year for the wider finance team for statistical analysis.
Taking ownership of the team's Sharepoint site and updating with the latest information and making adjustments to working templates.
Forecasting Management fees for loans and asset finance companies and other group management forecasts.
Participating in periodic Technical presentation including IFRS 9
Analysis of income streams into primary and secondary income for each company.
Preparation of intercompany Matrix and reconciliation for group companies.
Tagging financial statements using iXBRL for reporting to the HMRC.
Reviewing iXBRL tagging of team members for quality and ensuring the use of appropriate taxonomies.
User Acceptance Testing on Ad hoc finance projects.
