Responsibilities:
As a Security officer you will be responsible for responding to user inquiries related to information security. You will need to respond to requests from end users, IT staff, and management on various security related topics, including validating firewall openings and administrative privileges.
Additionally, you will setup, tune, perform and report on security controls to assure that security is being applied in line with described policies and security best practices. The security controls will primarily consists of access to systems and applications and network vulnerability management. Excellent analytical skills and precision are required.
You will also manage security incidents and coördinate major IT incidents.
Communication will either in French or English depending on the counterparty.
Technical skills:
- You have a higher degree, preferably in IT
- You have at least 4 years of experience in IT with a good understanding of the different IT areas (e.g. Network, Windows, Unix, Databases, Software development, Project Management, etc.) and the associated processes.
- You have general knowledge of Identity and Access Management and Access Control.
- You have a very good understanding of MS Windows and Active Directory.
- Audit experience is a plus.
- Experience in a complex IT environment is a plus
Personal skills:
- You speak and write fluently in French en Anglish
- You are able to work independently and have good time management skills
- You are proactive and seek continuous improvement of the tasks assigned to you
- You have good excel skills
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to absorb a lot of information
