Calypso Test Manager: Calypso Test Manager is urgently required to join a Calypso v14 project.

Key Requirements

  • Good understanding of the products life cycle (front-to-finance) for FXMM, Rates derivatives and securities products.
  • Good understanding of the daily activities involved in the Operations activities (payments, confirmations, matching, reconciliations, clearing, EOD reporting ).
  • Good understanding of the migration activities to be performed during the dry-runs, dress rehearsal and go-live.
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders from different department. eg Front Office, Back Office, risk management, Finance.
  • Able to lead daily/weekly meetings during the main testing phases to consolidate the testing status, track the issues and ensure that proper actions are taken by the relevant IT/Business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of one the following financial software will be an indisputable asset: Calypso, Summit, Murex.
  • General knowledge of banking front-to-finance processes and/or regulatory reporting processes will be also an asset to support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment activities.
  • Experience on JIRA (ATLASSIAN), proficient with the Microsoft Office solutions.
  • Fluent written and oral English language skills are essential.
  • Must be able to work in a global team and maintain a pleasant attitude while in a high-pressure environment.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to independently learn and improve skills.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the testing requirements gathering, test plan/strategy preparation, migration run-book for the roll-out of 10 Asian branches (possible interactions with the project stream executing the roll-outs for the central Eastern Europe countries).
  • Works with project manager/product owner/IT integrators to execute and oversee the various testing phases (from unitary testing until go-live).
  • Works with project manager/product owner/IT integrators to execute and oversee (through a consolidated run-book) the different migrations (from dry-run, until the dress-rehearsal and go-live).
  • Documents the test cases, tracks the defects, ensure that the key functionalities delivered through stories or during the technical go-live/final go-live are properly tested according to the users requirements.
  • Assists the project to produce the various documentation involved in the internal Risk and Control Self-Assessment process.
  • Maintain good business knowledge of the systems and markets that the bank participates in locally and globally.
