CommVault Support Engineer with strong experience CommVault, Net Backup Support Unix administration Solaris 10, SAN/NAS within the Banking industry required for an initial 6 month contract opportunity working through a Global Services organisation onsite for a large financial organisation based in London.

As the CommVault Engineer you will be required to support CommVault as a backup product. The role still has an element of NetBackup support/experience but will primarily be to perform day to day administration and FTSS support of all aspects of the backup infrastructure, dealing with incidents/restore requests, workflow request driven work through SNOW and generally working with the regional team in London maintaining the environment.
The ideal skill sets (taken from a recently advertised internal role) would be as follows.

*Commvault Product Support, Configuration & administration experience.
*Net Backup Support, Configuration & administration experience.
*A strong working knowledge of UNIX administration (Solaris 10)/Good Korn Shell Scripting experience for the automation of tasks with experience in ACSLS.
*Basic Wintel administration (Windows ).
*Technical understanding of StorageTek technology, including interconnectivity between the library and Media Servers/Media agents (Fibre Channel cards & Cisco Switches) and VTL & Disk Library Technology.
*Exposure to the SAN/NAS environments, relating to the backup of these devices, such as NDMP.
*Good Interpersonal skills for dealing with different cultures and divisions situated in various locations, through verbal and written communication.
*Strong problem analysis skills for investigation and diagnosis of complex issues.
