IT Infrastructure Lead - Global end user - New Jersey
IT Infrastructure Lead will take ownership of the IT infrastructure of global Technology projects related to Microsoft Products and Cloud based initiatives.
Key deliverables;
*Provide technical subject matter expertise for Infrastructure services to organization functional teams and their project
*Coordinate technical deployments and infrastructure activities plus management of support hand over activities between project and support organization.
*Plan and deliver continuous improvement in the technical capabilities of services delivered for the customers
*Design and Configuration Documents
*Application Monitoring and troubleshooting guides
*Operational handover activities
*Infrastructure service improvements and Product Standards
*Deployment processes
Technical Requirements;
*In-depth knowledge of Microsoft OS support and management
*In depth understanding of network protocols and technologies (Firewalls, Load Balancers, TCP/IP, Proxy, routing)
*Practical experience of using cloud services such as Azure and AWS for enterprise platform
*Strong Scripting skills and practical experience such as PowerShell
*Very strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills on Servers and network level.
*Good understanding of the major security protocols, best practices and industry trends in order to implement secure and effective solutions
*Solid experience with Microsoft products; Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, Internet Information services
*Authentication: Kerberos, Single Sign On, SAML, Federation
*Public Key Infrastructure
*Good understanding of hosting technologies such as Storage, virtualization and SQL Clusters
*Understanding of system and application integration such as web services API's
*Strong experience as primary technical leader on successful enterprise IT projects with the ability to manage deliverables and resources in multiple projects simultaneously
*Able and available to work effectively with a distributed international team, across multiple cultures and time-zones with minimal supervision and able to travel internationally as required.
*Self-initiated and proactive plus flexibility and willingness to work against deadlines.
