Description
In this role, you will analyse requirements, design, construct, configure, deploy and support application data integration through the use of HL7 messaging and web services to provide access to patient data and clinical data for critical healthcare applications.
Your key focus will be in the following areas:
- Requirements Analysis
- Solution design
- Development (Java), configuration, deployment
- Application and Integration support
- Contribute to process and methods improvement activities
Your specific duties will be:
- Assisting in the development and review of Business and Operational Plans that link with organisational outcomes
- Contributing to the effective management of the organisation by adhering to all governance, quality and financial management practices
- Ensuring that all information is managed in accordance with relevant standards and security practices
As the successful applicant you have:
- Proven knowledge and practical experience in, Sun JCAPS 5.1.3 or later and Java development for HL7 and Web Services
- Developing interfaces for HL7 V2.3 or V2.4
- Managing the process of HL7 interface development
- Monitoring and supporting production application integration interfaces
- Proven knowledge and familiarity with the ITIL methodology and processes
- The demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels
- The ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Proven knowledge and practical experience of eGate and Monk Development
