We are currently searching for 7 Sr. Systems Engineer to work in Amsterdam -The Netherlands, Hamburg -Germany or Stockholm - Sweden COUNTRY for 3 months plus extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client. The start has to be before June.

Sr. Systems Engineer As an experienced engineer you will be responsible for creating, operating and maintaining the high availibility systems in the customers datacenters. You ensure that the infrastructure and applications have an up-time as close as possible to 100%. Issues which can not be solved by the on-site support will be solved by your team. In this position you will be part of the 24/7 shift.

Who are we looking for?

You hold an academic Degree in IT, Computer Science, engineering, science or mathematics with next to this actual certifications;

You have strong technical skills, and hands-on experience for at least 5 years in operating and building up datacenters in complex corporate environments;

You have 5+ years experience working with Solaris based Unix systems or Linux based x86 Systems in mission critical environments or;

5+ years experience with working with Microsoft Windows in mission critical environments; experience in maintaining reactive and passive monitoring systems; proficiency with Scripting and automating tedious tasks; experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, HyperV, KVM, Oracle VM Server; ITIL experience, especially working with Change Management;
