Description
We are currently seeking an Application Server Engineer to begin work on a 12 Month+ contract in Brussels for our client within the Insurance industry, beginning as soon as possible.
You will join a team of four engineers where you will be designing, implementing and supporting several market applications for our client.
You MUST not only speak a good level of English but also speak either fluent French OR Dutch with knowledge of the other being at least basic.
Candidates' Required Personal Skills:
- Fluent French or Dutch
- Able to work within a small team as well as independently
- Open-minded
- Flexible (if needed for weekend work)
Candidates Required Technical Skills:
- Windows Server
- Scripting capabilities (eg. PowerShell, Batch, .Net)
- DBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
- Webserver (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, jBoss, WebSphere
- Active Directory
- Application Deployment Process (architecture, detailed design etc.)
- Experience in an ITIL environment (desirable)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and SPNEGO
Candidates' Required Business Experience:
- Working in the financial sector
- Delivering large scale projects
