PRG have an excellent opportunity for an experience Finance Manager with strong Financial Control background to join this highly successful financial service business based in Edinburgh.Initially on a temporary basis and will cover a secondment &ndash it will also provide excellent support to the wider finance teams with the delivery of control and accounting of various banking products and systems.
Reporting to a Senior Manager, the key responsibilities are:
&bull Exposure to financial reporting, analysis of disclosures and inter-company reconciliations
&bull Ensuring integrity of data between source systems and General Ledger
&bull MI for Divisional reporting
&bull Provision for strong ledger control and reporting for various subsidiary companies
&bull Ensure robust and effective financial governance framework, management of financial issues and balance sheet substantiation
&bull Experience of large financial systems i.e. SAP or Oracle may be advantageous, also Advanced MS Excel would be required
