SAP BPC Consultant - European Commission - Brussels
For one of our projects at the European Institutions in Brussels, we are urgently looking for a SAP BPC Consultant.
Main tasks:
- Provide a state of play of the current SAP BPC system on a functional & technical point of view
- Provide technical support to maintain the SAP BPC system in production.
- Provide expertise and solutions in BPC domain to non-initiated users, clear reporting skills.
- Perform system monitoring and tuning activities and provide consolidated reports.
- System maintenance activities.
- Interact and communicate with both the Business and the 1st level support teams.
- Provide technical solutions and upgrades to improve system performance.
- Implement / develop the system changes on the basis of the technical analysis.
- Review project deliverables and ensure their proper quality control.
- Participate in the specification of business requirements
- Apply the RUP methodology in developing the IT projects
For this role you need to have experience in:
- Experience using & administering BPC 10.0 for Microsoft platform (Business Planning and Consolidation)
- Strong expertise using BPC script logic, EPM-addin skills required
- Knowledge of Netweaver
- Functionally strong in planning and budgeting processes
- Communication / Presentation skills to relevant stakeholders in the EU commission
- Financial expertise (currency conversion, Balance Sheet & P&L statements,..)
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Excel and Visual Basic (scripts)
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL server 2012, SQL scripts & stored procedures
- Proficient with MDX, SSAS or SSIS is a plus
The next are considered assets:
- MS SQL Server Administrator knowledge.
- MS SQL Server 2012 profiler, tuning and monitoring.
- MS SQL Server 2012 scripting and stored procedures
Languages:
Fluent in English and French is an asset
