Job Description

Responsibilities of the role:
Executing interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Collaborating with client, product owners, stakeholder groups and business analysis teams to provide creative direction and UX expertise.
design user-journey storyboards and wireframes
conduct user research and develop personas
contribute to the requirements defining process
produce high-fidelity UI designs.
Delivering designs and prototypes to UI specifications for engineering.

Experience and skills required
2.1 or higher in a related discipline from an academic institution; Masters a plus.
Passion for UX design and delivering user-centred and intuitive design solutions.
Expert knowledge of UI design principals, user-centric design processes, accessibility and usability methodologies.
Experience in developing a variety of platforms including web, mobile and tablet using latest HTML and CSS technologies.
Expert user of Photoshop and Illustrator
Experience in wire-framing tools such as Balsamiq and/or Axure.
Experience with Agile frameworks and processes
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

The following is a strong plus:
Background in retail financial services and CRM
Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery
Understanding of common software development practices
