Cost Estimator - Bolton - £15ph - £18ph - 6 Month contract

If so, i have a 6 month contract opportunity for an experienced Cost Estimator. This role will be for a globally renowned company who are a market leader within their field.
The Estimator will have the responsibility of providing cost information to support the proposals and sales teams in winning profitable orders.
Some other responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain a cost information database related to purchased equipment.
- Utilise MAPICS and SAP data and work with purchasing and suppliers.
- Enquiries will require estimates to be provided within 2 to 4 days.
The right candidate should possess the following skills and experiences:
- The ability to distil the critical requirements of customer specifications into purchasing enquiries and bills of material.
- Able to understand engineering drawings including piping and instrumentation diagrams.
- ideally educated to degree level in an engineering/science subject.
- 5 to 10 years experience within a Project Engineer, Cost Estimator or Procurement role.
- Knowledge of ATEX and PED requirements would be an advantage.
