For our client, a globally active firm headquartered in Bern, we are looking to staff an ICT Network Administrator to start on 01 Apr, 2015


Job Description
• 1st and 2nd level support
• Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of diverse network infrastructure (LAN, MAN, WAN, Switches, Routers, Cisco, HPN)
• Patching jobs
• Creating network documentation
• Switch port configurations (VLAN, Port Security)
• Support other Network engineers in IT projects
• If possible provide pickett (On-call) service with 7x24 in the Oncall Team

Must Haves
• At least 3 years networking experience
• Knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, SNMP, SSH, DNS (BIND), DHCP (ISC)
• Network: Routers, Switches
• Good knowledge in network Engineering
• Basic security knowhow would be nice (firewall, Proxy server etc.)
• Good working knowledge of English

Nice to Haves
• Basic security knowhow is desirable (firewall, Proxy server etc.)
• French language is desirable
