Our client, a large financial services company, are currently recruiting for a Migration Analyst to be based in Edinburgh. With a background in Operations within a Retail Bank environment you will support the Service Design & Delivery Team in the implementation of change across the business. With skills and experience in data migrations and implementations, you will support the team in the analysis, design and delivery elements of the project, whilst identifying areas for continuous improvement that meet our business and strategies.
You will be required to have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience of involvement in Data Migration projects
- Strong experience in supporting Implementation phases (testing, dress rehearsals, SoEs etc)
- Strong understanding of data migrations, validation and reconciliations - data source, mapping rules, target systems desirable
- Interface with build and test teams to ensure technical design and tests cases meet the signed off business requirements
- Experience and knowledge of working on Savings, Loans and Credit Cards
- Effectively interpreting technology concepts to business stakeholders
- Knowledge of Transitional business and operational processes
- A sound working knowledge of how data is used within a financial organisation both operationally and for reporting and analysis.
- Excellent knowledge and use of Excel; proficiency on all Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and experience in delivering change within a Regulatory environment
- Confidence to challenge on processes
