Admin Assistant

Our client; a large financial services institution, require admin assistants to join their team in Manchester on initial 6 month contracts.

Role Purpose

* To undertake a range of customer and product related processing and administration activities, in order to maximise service excellence and business performance.

* Undertaking a range of processing and administrative tasks in accordance with company policy and procedures to deliver excellent customer service and achieve centre performance targets.

* Working with team colleagues to enable the delivery of consistently high standards of seamless customer service and achievement of customer service targets.

* Addressing and where appropriate escalating issues and problems to senior agents or the team leader to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer and the business in line with Regulation, company policy and best practice.

* Identifying and escalating ideas for operational process improvements to deliver a better service for our customers and/or improve efficiency.

* Undertaking general administration activities to ensure effective, efficient and compliant operation of the team and the centre.

* Proactively developing the necessary knowledge and skills needed to achieve successfully delivery and provide accurate and current advice and appropriate support to customers and colleagues.

Experience Required

* Worked in a customer service, high/volume administration and/or contact centre role.

* Worked as part of a team.

* Shown a willingness and ability to learn

Knowledge Required

* Competent in English and Mathematics.

* Computer literate/including proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

* Knowledge of the Financial Services market and the products, services and customers of the business area being supported.

Skills and Competencies Required

* Demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to deal effectively with customers and/or colleagues.

* Well organised and methodical in achieving deadlines and targets.

* Focus on customer needs and requirements.

* Solve problems as they arise or know how and where to escalate them.

* Research, organise and present internal and external information.

* Work independently and as part of a team as necessary
