Senior cloud security architect & developer
Responsibility's
- Responsible for managing security and privacy or a cloud based solution.
Establish guidelines and rules for the development teams to ensure best in class security.
Perform security vulnerability assessments to validate security of the system, and identify and implement solutions to improve the overall cloud platform security.
Act as main security expert in point of contact towards customers, partners and in case of audits.
Profile:
Education - Bachelor's degree in computer science; masters is desirable
Experience - Specifically you will;
- Manage the security and privacy aspects of a cloud based solution on day to day activities.
- Establish guild lines and rules for the development teams
- Mentor both new and experiences engineers
- Act as a security engineering expert and technical champion.
- Operational management of security audits and certification
Technical and communication skills;
- Significant demonstrable experience as an individual contributor security engineer, working on penetration testing, vulnerability analysis and tool development on large complex system software
- The desire and ability to work in emerging technologies such as virtualization, cloud and distributed computing
Strong understanding of at least one of the following areas;
- Web application security
- System software internals
- Layer 2-4 networking and networking security
- Current, deep skill developing software in both Java and C/C++
- Knowledge of at least on Scripting language is essential
- Cloud security, CCSK certification or equivalent is a plus
- Data privacy and security regulation
- Understanding of network virtualization is highly desirable
- Security vulnerability tool (such as Nessus) experience is key
- Strong communication skills
Other requirements
- Ability to travel 30% of the time
- Self-starter able to work autonomously, detail oriented and ability to work under pressure and short timelines
- Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills
- Result oriented and highly flexible, written and verbal skills
- Dynamic, start-up and disruptive environment experience preferred
