Description
On behalf of one of our clients, an international financial institution, located in Luxembourg, we are searching for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
UNIX/Linux Expert (Tier-3) (f/m) financal area Luxembourg
Tasks/job description:
- Support Linux Security initiatives (Hardening, Compliance Check, Security Baselines, Reporting)
- Recommend, implement and document Security processes and settings in the Unix/Linux (Tier-3) area
as well as for the BAU activities
- Support project for Cloud Implementation Project (datacenter automation)
Experience:
- 4-6 years experience in IT security & system administration
Qualifications & mandatory skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux security technologies (Hardening, Monitoring, Logging)
- Good knowledge of Virtualised environments and datacenter automation
- tools & processes
- Knowledge of typical Middleware application is a plus (JBoss, Apache, etc.)
Additional skills:
- strong command of English (mandatory)
- fluent knowledge of French and/or German considered as a plus
Essential inter-personal skills:
- Ability to work with international teams and to travel on a regular basis (to Germany/Eschborn mainly)
- Excellent negotiation skills
Additional Information
Location: based in Luxembourg with regular trips to Frankfurt/Eschborn
Start date: as soon as possible/immediate
