Front End Developer (remote work possible)

Description

Our client are are expanding a suite of products to have a great web focus and are looking for a Front End Web Developer who can make these come to life. The role will include continued development of various tools as well as working on new and existing client engagements. As the client portfolio expands they also plan to launch new SaaS offerings and develop complex web applications, and are looking for someone who keeps up-to-date with the bleeding edge of web UI development who can help keep products fresh.

ABOUT YOU
As a Front End Web Developer your responsibilities will include:

Developing customer-facing portals for bespoke in-house products

Improving and extending existing solutions

Developing automated tests for verification of functionality

Collaborating with other internal development teams

Helping launch and maintain SaaS offerings

Relevant technical experience will ideally include:

Strong knowledge of cross-browser JavaScript development

Familiarity with common JS frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS, EmberJS etc)

HTML and Responsive CSS

Understanding of source control systems (GitHub / SVN)

Some exposure to Java (or similar back end languages)

ABOUT THE JOB
In addition to experience in a web development role, you would ideally have:

An obsessive attention to detail

Good communication skills both internally (with team members) and externally (with clients)

Experience working in an Agile environment

The ability to balance multiple projects, requests and expectations at once while remaining cool, calm and collected

Experience with Selenium, JMeter (or similar) web testing frameworks - An interest in DevOps and cloud services
