Web Success Agency is seeking a highly experienced WordPress developer to take charge of development and technical management for custom WordPress website projects. You will work with our Lead Project Manager and Design Team to develop WordPress websites.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Strong written and verbal communication in English Expert knowledge of WordPress (Plugin / theme development / API) Understanding of WordPress frameworks Strong organizational skills, structured thinking and development methodology System and process development for more efficient and effective development Detail-oriented, and can get the job done Strong coordination skills to coordinate with our Lead Project Manager, design team, and other developers Strong PHP development skills HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS skills Good working experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands Strong experience building HTML/CSS across the major browsers Experience with modern source control (Git, Beanstalk) Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team Keep to deadlines, communicating clearly any changes to thisAbility to work, in general during typical working hours EST
Responsibilities Include:
Setup of WordPress options, plugin installation and configuration Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites Create and update re-usable code libraries to streamline WordPress development cycle Code and implement WordPress sites from Photoshop layout through html/CSS to a custom theme, functions, and plugins PHP and HTML development outside of WordPress for landing pages, microsites, etc. Basic database admin (MySQL) via PHPMyAdmin. You should possess a good working knowledge of common SQL commands and their correct use. Development within a multiple server configuration including development, staging and production servers Incorporating all necessary HTML and CSS into WordPress themes, templates and additional PHP and HTML pages project management In the "Brief Description" field on the right, write "Details matter." Documentation of your work for end users and commenting and proper organization of code so other team members can work with your code
