IT Procurement Manager
The Category Manager position exists in the Procurement IT category team.
Leads and executes individual IT Procurement projects to delivery overall business value (measured by cost reduction, Procurement productivity, process standardization & efficiency, category information and transparency) to the IT Procurement organization. Expectation of delivering multiple projects concurrently
Develop and execute effective analysis, sourcing strategies & execution.
Activities are life cycle based - market analysis qualifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating, contracting and then managing those contracts & suppliers.
Responsible for providing input to the Global IT Procurement PMO, Global Category Managers and Head of Functional IT Procurement as requested to inform the top-down target setting process
Responsible for refining scope of projects to enable delivery in line with the top down targets
Responsible for collection of supplier, market category, internal business data, and internal stakeholder information needed to inform project execution
Responsible for performing data analysis to inform the Category Strategy as directed by the Global IT Procurement PMO, Global Category Managers and Head of Functional IT Procurement
Responsible for ensuring project delivery is aligned to the long term service and category strategy
Responsible for executing agreed projects on a timely basis in line with the targeted goals and that the identified savings are delivered
Responsible for providing input into the supplier segmentation process
Responsible for defining KPIs and SLAs with suppliers during the contracting process in accordance service requirements
Responsible for creating, applying and completing contracts resulting from sourcing projects
Responsible for contract and commercial management & identifying and communicating areas of innovation and assisting in ensure appropriate performance of supplier
Accountable for monitoring project compliance and adherence to Procurement policies and procedures
Responsible for the identification and management of project risks and issues in a timely manner
