A leading Energy and Utilities client of Hyphen is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join the Business at their site in Wokingham.
Job Purpose:-
Act as Finance Business Partner to Electricity System Operator responsible for Capital Expenditure. This role is responsible for supporting the business in delivering capital projects to time, cost and quality. Give challenge to the prioritisation of investment and ensure financial benefits are realised. Support the wider function and areas of business in delivering projects and initiatives to deliver future value.
Key skills/Experience Required:-
- Experienced financial professional
- Project accounting experience required
- Experience of investment appraisals
- Business partnering experience required
- Support to finance change programmes
-Role requires fully qualified accountant or equivalent professional experience
- Stakeholder management - anticipates future stakeholder needs
- Skilled in change management
- Works collaboratively with others in multi-functional teams
- Able to support and challenge confidently
- Able to report complex financial information to non-financial audiences
- Good general financial and business acumen
- Previous experience with regulated business advantageous
- Investment management
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management
