DBA Manager , Alicante Spain
We require an English-speaking DBA Manager to manage a team of DBAs (Informix, Oracle, MySQL) with min 4 years management experience, for a long term assignment at our client in Alicante. Great location in sunny Spain in an International English-language environment. Spanish would be useful.
THE ROLE
- Organising and supporting the DBA team
- Achievement of defined SLA.
- Deliver the contractual deliverables.
- Single point of contact for follow-up meetings and reporting to the client.
- Lead the interaction with other departments to prepare changes, projects.
SKILLS
- DBA coordination in complex environments
- Environment: HP-UK, Linux (Red Hat - Suse), Solaris (Oracle Sun)
- Database Administration : Oracle, Informix, MySQL
LANGUAGES
- A high level of both spoken and written English is required. Minimum accepted level B2 of the CEF (Common European Framework).
- Spanish is valuable.
