Description
Seeking a Systems Analyst with experience in designing, engineering and managing vendor and/or home grown Configuration Management based applications involving multi-tier architecture. Works closely with Network Solutions team, collects business requirements, comprehends wireless network design, creates design document and delineates solution between development, external interfacing inbound/outbound system teams and business team. Facilitates end to end SDLC, analyze impacts to external systems and engage teams on timely manner and support Systems testing and UAT. Works with vendor, track deliverables, procure resolutions and maintain product stability and scalability. Analyzes root cause of defects, provides proactive solutions to eliminate reoccurring defects and reduces operations overhead and improves user experience.SKILLS:

- Has thoroughly demonstrated knowledge of the application systems in their area of responsibility and can identify, evaluate and define impacts of changes, provide alternatives both to the application changing and all upstream and downstream systems, or identify if a change is a manual process taking into account the entire picture as well as the details. Generally assigned to Enterprise, cross-functional and cross-departmental projects with high complexity and cross-system impacts.
- Has thoroughly demonstrated working knowledge to conceptualize, document and communicate innovative solutions to meet or exceed business objectives.
- Applies modelling techniques to Analyst deliverables.
- Ability to conduct peer reviews to solicit feedback on materials created.
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of various business process and system modelling tools including: Data Flow Diagrams, Process Models, ER diagrams, Dimensional Data Models, Context Models, Event Modeling, State Modeling, Process decomposition, and Use Case Scenarios
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of the system development life cycle and clear on SDLC concepts
- Demonstrates thorough working knowledge to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, create deliverables and delegate to others as well as monitor their work for completion
- Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications
- Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables
- Strong Analytical, Communication skills and a good team player
- Deep dive analysis and root cause resolution/documentation
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Can do data analysis in databases like SQL Server or Oracle
- Strong knowledge and experience in Network Architecture, IP Networking, Subnet allocation. Knowledge of IPv6 is a plus
- Strong knowledge and experience working on GSM, UMTS, LTE. Microwave and DAS Technologies is a Plus
- 6-8 years experience creating Requirement, Functional Specification, & Test Requirement documents required
- 6-8 years experience with supporting both purchased and in-house developed applications required
- 6-8 years experience in software development, software design or business process design (example: process modelling, use case analysis, etc) and implementation preferred
- 6-8 years minimum experience in telecommunications industry preferred
- 2 years minimum Project Management, Management, Team Lead, or other equivalent leadership experience preferred
- 6-8 years experience with a formal SDLC preferred
- 6-8 years experience developing business solutions with a variety of tools preferred
- Have working experience on HPUX, Linux, Windows Server, Solaris, Oracle, SQLServer and Shell Scripting is a plus
